Wythit Forum Policy

Welcome to the Wythit Forum. This forum is for everyone in Wythenshawe, or interested in Wythenshawe, to join in and enjoy.

We want you to have strong and varied opinions, but to keep the discussion good-natured. So we have a few common-sense rules that we ask you to stick to:

• Try to be nice! You may not agree with someone else's opinion, but please respect it. Please do not be offensive - if in doubt, leave it out. Avoid attacking a person's personality or character.
• Do not write anything that could damage a person or the reputation of an organisation - you could get in legal trouble.
• If you have a dispute with a person or organisation, please deal directly with them.
• For your own safety, do not give out contact details (except email if you wish - but remember this forum is open to the world). Do not name individuals as this can cause offence.
• Please do not use multiple identities as this causes confusion and is a misuse of the site.
• No advertising - if you want to promote a local service, please contact info@wythit.com
• Please do not write in capitals - this is considered SHOUTING! (use underline or italic instead). You do not have to shout to be heard on the Wythit Forum!

• The Discussion Forum is overlooked by a group of Moderators who are drawn from the main Wythit group of authors. Their work is to ensure that the guidelines are observed. The group is composed of individuals who are volunteer residents and members of local organisations serving the Community - for information there are no Councillors in this group. Training courses take place for authors as required - if you are interested then contact info@wythit.com.
